JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul to host 'Wine N Busker' festival this fall

JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul announced Tuesday that it will hold its fall "Wine N Busker" festival in partnership with the US Meat Export Federation. The event runs three days, from Sept. 18 to Sept. 20.

Now in its 12th year, Wine N Busker is one of South Korea's flagship hotel wine festivals, bringing together a wide selection of wines, live performances and chef-curated pairing menus under one roof.

This fall's edition takes "Backstage Cinema" as its theme, transforming the hotel's outdoor deck and The Lounge into a cinema-inspired setting.

In collaboration with the US Meat Export Federation, the hotel's chefs will present wine pairing menus featuring premium American pork and beef.

Eleven wine importers will participate, offering free tastings of more than 100 varieties. A limited number of prestige wines from each importer will also be available for sampling.

This year, the California Wine Institute is joining the festival for the first time. Timed to coincide with California Wine Month in September, the institute will showcase the appeal of California wines at the event.

The live performance lineup is headlined by vocal group Noeul and features nine acts in total. Indoor seating at The Lounge and outdoor deck tables will both be available.

Table packages — which include admission and a pairing food platter — are priced at 100,000 won ($71) per person for the first and second sessions, and 120,000 won per person for the third session, which features live performances. Each session runs two hours. General admission, which covers wine tasting and the live performances, is 50,000 won per person.

The 2026 fall Wine N Busker runs from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 18, from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 19, and from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sept. 20.
