Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun launches chuseok 'Dabokhan Gawi' room package

Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun Hotel & Residences is launching a "Dabokhan Gawi" room package for the upcoming chuseok holiday.

The name blends "da," the Korean word for tea, with "dabok," meaning abundant blessings. The package includes one night's accommodation, a breakfast buffet at Food Exchange, one "Oyatkkot" (plum blossom) traditional confectionery set from royal court pastry brand Mannadang, two gelato tea or Americano drinks at The Deli, complimentary access to the fitness center and indoor and outdoor rooftop pools, and free use of the kids zone.

Particularly notable is the "Oyatkkot" confectionery set, Mannadang's signature offering inspired by the flavors and spirit of traditional royal court pastries. It comprises two royal court yakgwa, one yuzu yakgwa and one royal court mandu-gwa.

Families also receive a breakfast benefit: when two adults use the breakfast buffet, up to two children under 16 eat free, allowing a family of up to four to enjoy the meal together.

The chuseok "Dabokhan Gawi" package is available from Sept. 18 through Sept. 30. The price is 360,000 won ($261), excluding taxes.
