Brita, the eco-friendly water filter brand, said Sunday it has received "Great Place to Work" certification from GPTW, a global workplace culture assessment organization.
The certification evaluates overall organizational culture — including trust, fairness, respect, pride and collaboration — based on employee surveys. Brita Korea was selected after the assessment found its employee-centered corporate culture to be exemplary.
Brita Korea received high marks from employees in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), well-being, and pride. The DE&I category recorded a 93 percent positive response rate. Every item related to fair treatment regardless of sexual orientation, race or gender received a 100 percent positive response rate. The statement "I am recognized as an important member regardless of my position" also scored 90 percent.
The item "We have a physically safe work environment" received a 100 percent positive response, while "This is a psychologically and emotionally good place to work" scored 90 percent. The statements "I feel I am contributing to the workplace" and "I feel proud of what we have achieved together" each recorded 95 percent.
Brita Korea operates a range of employee-friendly programs, including "Family Day" — an early finish at 3 p.m. on the third Friday of every month — as well as flexible working hours and a remote work option. The company also supports employee development and renewal through long-service anniversary gifts and special leave.
Choi Seon-young, executive director at Brita Korea, said the certification "is the result of building a culture where employees are respected, included and able to grow together."
