Handcrafted donut brand Randy's Donuts is launching a special collaboration menu with JYP Entertainment girl group NMIXX.
Randy's Donuts said Friday it will release a limited-edition lineup of six donuts, each conceived by a member of the group.
The collaboration runs through Nov. 30 to mark the release of NMIXX's sixth mini album "Strange Muse." The donuts will be available at six locations: the Yeonnam branch in Seoul, the Aewol branch in Jeju, the Gwangalli and Seomyeon branches in Busan, the Dongseong-ro branch in Daegu, and the Time Villas branch in Suwon.
Each donut was developed from ingredient combinations and menu names proposed by the six NMIXX members themselves. The lineup includes Lily's "Chocoberry Love Affair," Haewon's "Dornja (Donut Egg Yolk)," Seollyun's "Honestly Choco Donut Is the Best," Bae's "I'm Nuts for You," Jiwoo's "Baba Pong," and Kyujin's "Herakyu (Hazelnut Raspberry Kyujin)."
"Chocoberry Love Affair" pairs chocolate with strawberry cream, while "Dornja" is filled with orange yogurt cream and "Honestly Choco Donut Is the Best" features Oreo chocolate cream. "I'm Nuts for You" and "Baba Pong" are filled with savory peanut cream and Bavarian cream, respectively, and "Herakyu" combines hazelnut and raspberry.
Customers who purchase a set will receive one set of six NMIXX photo cards per person, along with a discount voucher redeemable on their next visit.
The Yeonnam branch has been decorated to recreate the "PICK N MIXX DONUT SHOP" featured in NMIXX's "O.O" music video.
An Instagram verification event is also underway. Participants can post a purchase verification photo or review and tag the official Randy's Donuts Instagram account to receive a 4,000-won mobile coupon. Ten winners selected by draw will receive a signed NMIXX CD, with results announced through the official Instagram account after the collaboration ends.
