Dessert cafe chain Twosome Place said Wednesday it will launch two new lemon coffee drinks — Lemon Coffee and Lemon Cafe Latte — on Friday.
The new drinks draw inspiration from Caffè Romano, an Italian-style coffee traditionally served with a slice of lemon alongside espresso. Twosome Place put its own spin on the concept, blending the bitterness of coffee with bright lemon flavor.
The flagship Lemon Coffee pairs a clean Americano with a refreshing citrus note, while the Lemon Cafe Latte adds lemon to a standard cafe latte. Both drinks are available iced only.
Through Thursday, customers can sign up for a launch notification through the Twosome Heart app and receive a 10 percent discount coupon on beverages.
The company will also raffle free Lemon Coffee coupons among 100 participants chosen by draw. The coupons are valid from Friday through Aug. 20.
"We wanted to show that even a familiar coffee can become a completely new experience through a small change," a Twosome Place official said.
