Signiel Busan chef to lend culinary talent to 'Table for All' charity dinner

Signiel Busan will serve as the main sponsor of a global children's charity event.

The hotel is co-hosting "2026 Table for All," a charity dinner, with Korea Compassion — the local chapter of Compassion International — on July 26.

Now in its sixth year, Table for All is a global sharing campaign that aims to bring hope to children around the world suffering from poverty and food insecurity.

This year, Signiel Busan is providing the venue, professional service staff and all cooking equipment at no charge. Headlining the event is Jeong Yong-jae, executive chef of Chao Lan, the hotel's modern Cantonese restaurant — the first at a luxury hotel in Busan to be listed in the Michelin Guide. A 32-year Lotte Hotel veteran and widely recognized Cantonese cuisine specialist, Jeong will present Chao Lan's signature assorted dim sum platter as his contribution. The selection features three varieties: lychee dim sum, black har gow and truffle dim sum.

Shim Young-min, general manager of Signiel Busan, said he hoped "Chef Jeong's heartfelt cooking will bring hope to the children and the joy of giving to our supporters."
