Shinsegae Food launches two gold kiwi cakes for summer at E-mart bakeries

Shinsegae Food said Sunday it will introduce two new summer cakes at E-mart bakery stores.

Both products feature gold kiwi from Zespri, a New Zealand kiwi brand: the "Kiwi-Topped Gold Kiwi Cake" and the "Spoonable Gold Kiwi Cake." One gold kiwi provides enough vitamin C to meet an adult's recommended daily intake.

The flagship "Kiwi-Topped Gold Kiwi Cake" is made with gold kiwi and gold kiwi jam, topped with sliced gold kiwi. It is priced at 27,980 won (about $18).

The lineup also includes a dessert priced under 10,000 won. The "Spoonable Gold Kiwi Cake" layers gold kiwi jam and gold kiwi slices and is priced at 8,980 won.
