The Hanwoo Self-Assistance Fund Management Committee will hold a symposium on digital information use and productivity improvement for Hanwoo cattle farmers on July 2 at the international conference hall of Hongik University's International Training Center in Sejong. The event was organized to strengthen the on-site competitiveness of Hanwoo farms and contribute to the development of the Hanwoo industry.

The symposium will be held under the theme "Data-driven, profit-oriented Hanwoo breeding technology and management strategy," featuring presentations and a question-and-answer session with experts in digital information, ruminant nutrition, carcass performance and individual animal management. The Hanwoo Self-Assistance Fund and the online community "Hanwoo Industry Sharing" are co-hosting the event.

At the symposium, the Hanwoo Self-Assistance Fund will publicly unveil its newly developed "Hanwoo Digital Information System" for the first time. A live on-site demonstration will introduce features including a Hanwoo-dedicated chatbot, along with practical guidance to help farmers put the system to immediate use.

Registration is open to the first 280 applicants. Sign-ups are accepted through June 8 via a Naver form accessible through the official Hanwoo Self-Assistance Fund website or a QR code on the event poster.

Min Gyeong-cheon, chairman of the Hanwoo Self-Assistance Fund Management Committee, said the event was designed to bring together the voices of farmers and the knowledge of experts in one place, adding that he hoped the symposium would help Hanwoo farms build practical competitiveness.
