Blue Bottle Coffee Korea expands dessert lineup

Blue Bottle Coffee Korea said Tuesday it is expanding its dessert menu with new offerings designed to pair with its coffee.

The yuzu madeleine draws on domestically grown yuzu for a bright citrus aroma. A thin layer of icing tops the moist baked madeleine, and the item pairs naturally with cold coffee drinks.

The raspberry cake, which debuted last year, also returns to the menu. It features raspberry jam and a nutty crumble, with extra virgin olive oil used in the batter. The cake pairs well with an iced Americano or a pour-over drink.

A new ice cream item also joins the lineup. The waffle ice cream cup tops ice cream with a Liège waffle and a rich chocolate ganache.
