Cargill's Nutrina launches Daily Balance cat food targeting digestive health

Nutrina Geongang Baekseo Cat, Cargill's global pet food brand, announced Thursday the launch of a new product called Daily Balance.

Daily Balance is formulated with ingredients and a nutritional design aimed at supporting cats' digestive health. The product uses hydrolyzed chicken and is built around a protein composition that accounts for digestive availability. It features a proprietary Fiber Balance Formula — a combination of dietary fiber and postbiotics — to promote gut health, along with Trupet™, a yeast culture-derived ingredient, and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA).

The new product was developed drawing on the global animal nutrition research capabilities of Cargill's Animal Nutrition division and domestic production infrastructure. Geongang Baekseo products are manufactured at Cargill's Pyeongtaek factory under a quality management system based on HACCP and ISO 22000 standards.

Nutrina Geongang Baekseo Cat is expanding its Daily lineup. The brand plans to address consumer needs through Daily Comfort and Daily Balance, with the latter focused on managing irregular bowel health.

"We plan to consistently expand our product portfolio to meet the diverse health care needs of cats, including digestive health," a Nutrina Geongang Baekseo Cat official said.
