Paik's Coffee to sell iced Americanos for 1,000 won in 20th-anniversary promotion

Paik's Coffee, The Born Korea's coffee chain brand, will mark its 20th anniversary with a discount promotion offering a total of 550,000 cups. The chain will sell iced Americanos for 1,000 won from Wednesday through Friday next week.

During the promotion, starting at 2 p.m. each day, each store will offer the standard-size iced Americano at 1,000 won on a first-come, first-served basis, capped at 100 cups per store per day. The company's headquarters will cover the full discount amount, reducing the burden on franchisees.

The iced Americano featured in the promotion is made with Paik's Coffee's "signature blend," which incorporates 20 percent specialty beans.

The promotion will run at Paik's Coffee and Paik's Coffee Bread Lab locations nationwide, with some stores excluded. Sales may end early at individual stores once their allotted supply runs out.

In-store customers may purchase one cup per order. Smart-order and delivery purchases are not eligible. Membership points, coupons and other combined discounts will not apply.

"We organized this promotion to express our gratitude to customers who have supported Paik's Coffee over the past 20 years," a company official said.
