Sofitel Ambassador Seoul launches summer food promotions at Parisian lounge

Sofitel Ambassador Seoul announced Wednesday a new lineup of summer food and beverage promotions to mark the holiday season.

At L'Espace, the Parisian lounge on the hotel's sixth floor, guests can enjoy Summer Drafts — a promotion pairing views of Seokchon Lake with a selection of draft beers. The menu features six draft beers, including Stella Artois, alongside herb garlic butter grilled shrimp and beef bourguignon poutine. The promotion runs through Aug. 31.

Two bingsu offerings are also available. The Citron Basil Bingsu is a gastronomic shaved-ice dessert combining basil and tangy champagne sorbet, while the hotel's signature Mango Bingsu Secret rounds out the selection. The Citron Basil Bingsu is priced at 70,000 won ($45) and the Mango Bingsu Secret at 100,000 won. Both are available through Sept. 30.

At Jardin d'Hiver, a gourmet cafe on the same floor, the hotel has introduced three seasonal cakes made with peach, mango and dates.

The menu also includes the Retro Parfait, a reinterpretation of the classic dessert featuring house-made gelato and fresh fruit toppings. It is priced at 18,000 won.

"We designed these promotions so guests can enjoy a romantic urban getaway with unique menu offerings during the hot summer months," a hotel official said.
