Outback Steakhouse, operated by Dining Brands Group, said Monday it is running a limited-time discount event on KakaoTalk, offering up to 25 percent off premium dining menus through the KakaoTalk Gift channel from Monday through June 28.

The centerpiece of the promotion is the "Black Label Sizzling Edition," which features a strip loin steak served on a hot plate heated to 230 degrees Celsius. The set follows a semi-course format spanning salad, a main dish and dessert, and is available at 141,000 won (about $92) — a 15 percent discount off the regular price.

Couple set menus are also part of the event. The "Baby Back Rib Couple Set," which includes baby back ribs, Toowoomba pasta and two ades, is offered at 67,900 won, a 24.7 percent discount off the regular price.

The "Toowoomba Couple Set" pairs Toowoomba pasta with chicken tender salad and two ades, and is priced at 47,900 won — down 24.2 percent from the regular price.

Gift vouchers purchased through KakaoTalk can be redeemed at Outback Steakhouse locations nationwide. "This is an opportunity for customers to enjoy Outback's premium menus at a more reasonable price," a company official said.
