Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun launches weekend stamina buffet promotion

Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun Hotel & Residences said Friday it will launch a "Summer Special Stamina Buffet Promotion" at Food Exchange, the buffet restaurant on the hotel's 20th floor. The promotion runs from Saturday through Aug. 30.

The menu spans traditional Korean stamina dishes and summer wellness fare from around the world. Highlights include ginseng abalone porridge and croaker clear soup, two classic Korean summer restorative dishes. A live grill station will feature chefs preparing lamb leg, LA galbi, lamb shoulder, striploin and grilled shrimp tableside. Steam dishes include abalone, top shell, snow crab and three varieties of dim sum.

A range of global dishes rounds out the savory offerings — among them eight-treasure tofu, artichoke pizza, flounder acqua pazza, herbal braised galbi, kaisen ceviche and eel futomaki.

For dessert, diners can choose from cream cheese mango shortcake, ube mango roll cake, tropical cream cheese verrine and mango pudding.

The buffet runs every Saturday and Sunday, with lunch from noon to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Admission is 120,000 won (about $79) per adult.
