The US Meat Export Federation announced it will participate in Seoul Food 2026, held at KINTEX in Goyang's Ilsan district from Tuesday through Friday.
The federation will set up a promotional booth in Hall 4 of Exhibition Hall 1, displaying a range of American beef and pork cuts alongside processed products and ready-to-eat items.
Prime-grade beef will also be on display. Prime is the top tier under the US Department of Agriculture's beef rating system. The booth will feature seven Prime cuts: chuck flap, chuck roll, bone-in short rib, chuck tender, short rib, hanger steak and rib finger meat.
This year, the federation built its entire tasting menu around hansik, or Korean cuisine. Dishes on offer include pork gukbap, sirloin yuzu-sauce gangjeong, beef jeon with rapée and braised arongsatae in tomato sauce.
"This is the first time we have composed the entire tasting menu as hansik," said Park Jun-il, the federation's Korea country director. "Visitors will be able to experience the harmonious flavors that American meat and Korean cuisine can create together."
