Myeon Sarang, a noodle and sauce company, announced Sunday the launch of a new TV advertising campaign.
The commercial centers on the concept of "the climax of noodles, perfected through freezing," and was designed to highlight the taste and texture of the company's frozen noodle products.
The ad showcases Myeon Sarang's noodle-making process, including dough aging, repeated-stroke noodle-making and rapid freezing at minus 40 degrees Celsius. It particularly emphasizes, through visual storytelling, that flash-freezing the noodles at their peak delivers a smooth, chewy texture that can be recreated at home.
"Our rapid-freezing technology preserves the starch and protein structure of the noodles, allowing them to retain a springy, just-cooked texture even after thawing," a company official said. Myeon Sarang plans to follow the summer noodle edition with a winter noodle installment.
