Cellmed, a natural-substance biotech company, has launched Petmed, a brand dedicated to everyday health management for companion animals.
The brand's initial lineup comprises four products: Supervita, a comprehensive nutritional supplement; Bodeulbodeul, formulated for skin and coat care; Chorongchorong, designed with eye health in mind; and Poljakpoljak, targeting joint health. A fifth product, Cheonhamujok, focused on immune health, vitality and gut health, is set to launch soon. All products are available through the Cellmed Wellness website and on Coupang Inc.
Supervita is a comprehensive nutritional supplement aimed at building foundational dietary habits in pets. Bodeulbodeul is formulated for skin and coat care. Chorongchorong features natural functional ingredients and a formulation designed with eye health in mind. Poljakpoljak targets joint health. The forthcoming Cheonhamujok was developed to support immune function, vitality and gut health in companion animals.
All Petmed products were developed by a team of about 30 researchers — including doctors of veterinary medicine, pharmacy and medicine — who designed the functional ingredients and recipes for each product. Every product contains anthocyanin-polysaccharide nanocomposite (AANCP, AFNCP), a patented compound exclusive to Cellmed with antioxidant, anti-aging, immune-activating and anti-inflammatory properties.
"With Petmed, we wanted to offer nutritional products made from quality natural ingredients and scientifically designed formulations, so that pets can enjoy taking care of their health," said Jang Bong-geun, chief executive of Cellmed.
