Beverage company Teazen is expanding its alternative coffee brand Cafe Orzo with a new product: the Cafe Orzo Oat Latte.
Cafe Orzo — launched earlier this year — has seen consistent sales growth since its debut, with the brand's monthly sales in September rising more than tenfold compared to early this year, Teazen said Thursday. Teazen said it is introducing the oat latte on the back of that momentum.
The Teazen Cafe Orzo Oat Latte is made from barley roasted in the same manner as coffee beans and contains no caffeine. The product blends a smooth milk flavor with the nutty richness of oat extract. It comes in individually wrapped powder stick packets, so consumers can prepare an oat latte simply by adding water — no separate milk or oat milk required.
The Teazen Cafe Orzo Oat Latte is currently available through Teazen's official online store, Naver Brand Store and CJ Olive Young's online mall.
Teazen plans to expand its retail channels going forward. To mark the launch, the company has prepared various discount offers across each channel.
"Following the original black variety, we are extending the lineup to include the oat latte so that consumers can enjoy a range of flavors without worrying about caffeine — tailored to their tastes and circumstances," a Teazen official said. "We will continue to propose new drinking experiences."
