Burger King said Monday it will run an app-based promotion for the Chuseok holiday, offering app members six special coupon packs.
The promotion runs for five days from Wednesday through Sunday. Registered members of the Burger King app can receive six Chuseok special coupon packs, with discounts of up to 36 percent.
For group dining during the holiday, the chain is introducing two multi-person sets: the "Jinsuseongjhan Hangawi Pack" and the "Family Assorted Pack." The Jinsuseongjhan Hangawi Pack, priced at 26,000 won ($19), includes a Truffle Mushroom Whopper, a Teriyaking Crisper, two orders of french fries and three drinks. The Family Assorted Pack, at 21,500 won, features signature items including the Whopper, Cheese Whopper and Long Chicken Burger.
Two-person sets are also available — a Special Whopper Duo Pack pairing the Penta Cheese Whopper and Garlic Bulgogi Whopper, and a National Whopper Pair Pack combining the Whopper and Bulgogi Whopper.
The Kings Omakase Pack adds side dishes and a dessert to the Quattro Cheese Whopper. A Holiday Snack Pack featuring sides such as nuggets, cheese sticks and coconut shrimp will also be available.
Burger King will also run a joint promotion for KT Corp membership customers. KT Corp membership holders can download a coupon through the Burger King app and use it in store anytime in September, choosing between a 45 percent discount on a Whopper set or a 50 percent discount on a pack menu comprising a Bulgogi Whopper, Long Chicken Burger and a side dish.
